Effects of Dust Event Days on Influenza: Evidence from Arid Environments in Lanzhou

چکیده
Airborne aerosol is believed to be an important pathway for infectious disease transmissions like COVID-19 and influenza. However, the effects of dust event days on influenza have been rarely explored, particularly in arid environments. This study explores ambient particulate matter (PM) events laboratory-confirmed a semi-arid city. A descriptive analysis daily (influenza) cases, PM (PM10 PM2.5), meteorological parameters, were conducted from 2014 2019 Lanzhou, China. The case-crossover design combined with conditional Poisson regression models was used estimate lagging In addition, hierarchical model quantitatively evaluate interactive effect temperature absolute humidity We found that had significant PM10 PM2.5 became stronger as cumulative lag increased. greatest estimated relative risks (RRs) 1.018 (1.011,1.024) 1.06 1(1.034,1.087), respectively. Compared non-dust days, duration ≥ 1 day 2 strongest at lag0 day, RRs 1.245 (95% CI: 1.061-1.463) 1.483 1.232-1.784), Subgroup showed pre-school children school-aged more sensitive exposure. Besides, we also low interaction aggravate risk summary, exposure may increase influenza, increases duration. Therefore, efforts government well individuals should strengthened reduce cold dry weather.

The influence of event attributes on tourist’s loyalty: Evidence from the Ashoura event in Yazd City
Many studies have found that the perceived authenticity of cultural and religious events affects event satisfaction and loyalty. Little is currently known about how perceived authenticity is affected by the facilities, such as food and the availability of information, which are independent determinants of satisfaction and loyalty. This study aims to examine the antecedents of event loyalty. Que...
متن کاملAmbient Influenza and Avian Influenza Virus during Dust Storm Days and Background Days
BACKGROUND The spread of influenza and highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) presents a significant threat to human health. Avian influenza outbreaks in downwind areas of Asian dust storms (ADS) suggest that viruses might be transported by dust storms. OBJECTIVES We developed a technique to measure ambient influenza and avian influenza viruses. We then used this technique to measure concen...
متن کاملthe effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends
flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...
Analysis of the Effect of Wind Speed and Soil Moisture on Horizontal Visibility Variations Caused by Dust Event in Arid Regions (Study Region: Southeast of Iran)
Introduction: Increasing or reducing the production of suspended particles depends on the important climatic and terrestrial characteristics of a region. One of the most important climatic factors affecting soil erosion is wind speed, so if the surface winds speed in a region exceeds the threshold of erosion, soil susceptibility to erosion and dust production increases. In contrast, the most im...
